Sacristans

The Sacristan serves our comunity by caring for the vessels, vestments, linens, liturgical books, and other aricles needed for the various liturgical celebrations in our parish. He/She is asissted in this ministry by a dedicated group of volunters.

The sacristan is the "stage manager" of our liturgies, preparing the altar, the sacred vessels, and the vestments for those who preside at the celebration. The sacristans set up for the Mass, and see that things are in their proper places when the mass is finished.

Each weekend mass should have its own sacristan. Substitutes should also be available in case the regular sacristan cannot make it for an individual liturgy.
