ALUMNI OF ST. VINCENT FERRER SCHOOL    St. Vincent Ferrer School has a rich tradition of academic excellence in a Catholic faith-based environment. It has faithfully served the families of Elmwood Park and River Forest for nearly 70 years.    The beautiful campus located at the corner of Lathrop and North Avenue has created years of memories for its alums of playing in the school yard, volleyball and basketball games in the gym, memorable teachers and fun school events. Interesting tidbits emerge like the class of 1967 which boasted of six sets of twins pictured in the Chicago Tribune.    Over SVF's long history each year there have been frequent reunions. The loyalty to SVF is impressive and heartwarming. 10 10 10 What does this mean? On 10/10/10 SVF School will celebrate 70 years of academic excellence. Tentative plans are to begin at the 5:30 Saturday evening Mass followed by a reception. A buffet will be served as well as refreshments. There will be music for the dancers in the crowd. As much of the school building as necessary will be used including special areas for decades and classes celebrating reunion. Anyone wishes to help in the planning of this gala event, contact JoAnne Kennelly. ALUMNI INFORMATION SHEET REMEMBER DENNIS WOERTER 1982?     It's now Father Dennis and he has returned to SVF as an associate pastor. He will be working predominantly with the youth from SVF School, Religious Education and the teenage Youth Group.  Fr. Dennis will have a classroom in the school building where he will develop a religion lab. Not many places can boast of such a wonderful opportunity having an ordained alum on staff to work with the young people of the parish.    Fr. Dennis has been very busy since he arrived at SVF parish. Among other things, he is on the Fenwick H.S. Board of Directors and the Board of Members. He is also a member of the SVF Athletic Committee. Although they lost in the play-offs, Fr. Dennis coached the 6 th grade school soccer team to a very impressive 11 and 4 record. Congratulations to the team members and their coach!
