Job Description

Mission:

Cause people to be happy in giving to SVF parish & school. This includes all forms of giving & all the structures & processes. Ethical methods mandatory. Cause people to cause people to invest themselves.

Job Requirements:

High social & sales skills. Computer skills – PDS, FAST, etc. Mailers & Newsletters. Best Practice knowledge. Empowerment skills to volunteers. Work with SVF CFO in all fiscal areas. Use Arch Chicago resources.

Areas of contact & development:

SVF Finance Board (Endowment/estates/etc)

Parish Council

Board of Specified Jurisdiction (Development Committee)

Grant Writing

Fundraising events both Parish & School

Weekly SVF bulletin info page on advancement & development

Tuition clarity for Day School & School of Religion Monitor process

Build Alumni base with Newsletter

Monthly Pancake breakfasts

Monitor & build FAST (manna, script)

Work with Finance Board on Capital Campaign, Buildings Campaign &

Endowment.

Candidate must be a practicing Catholic who weekly attends Mass and whose life models the faith and teachings of the Church. This is a full time position with Archdiocesan benefits.
